_ In our future forums class, we got to pick a book to read for our book clubs, I chose the book “the barcode tattoo” by Suzanne weyn. This book was about a girl named kayla and her struggles with a government called global one which tries to control people by knowing what they’re doing and where they are at all times from a barcode tattooed on their wrists which also works as a credit card and ID.

Overall I felt this was a good book to read and it had a good story, the author was able to keep me interested throughout each chapter.  I enjoyed the book towards the middle when kayla was just discovering the conspiracy global one was up to and first met zekeal , Mfumbe, Allyson, August and Nedra because it really twisted the story. With the resistance, kayla was hesitant at first, but she helped them anyways. By the end of the book, kayla had to move to the mountains which she saw in the dream she had when she put on the helmet, in order to get away from global one. I think the author ended the book nicely because it gave the book a good cliff hanger for the next books in the series.

After reading this book, I think Suzanne weyn did a great job on writing this book , it left me wanting to read more and I look forward to seeing what happens to kayla in the next book “the barcode rebellion”.

The leafs played their 4th game of the series last night and boy was it a good game to watch. I only started watching at the 3rd period when the game was tied 3-3, the leafs made a bunch of nice shots but Boston's goalie was really good and the leafs were able to stop them up until over time when the bruins got that last goal in the end of overtime, its now 3 games to 1 for the bruins

Even after all the threats and controversies between north Korea, south Korea and the U.S., north Korea has agreed to talk with them as long as the UN sanctions are withdrawn and the U.S. and south Korea put an end to their joint military drills. This surprises me a lot actually because north Korea at first vowed to gulf Washington in a sea of fire, and now they want to talk with them about the situation? i think north Korea took the threats a bit to far and now

That awesome moment when you wake up from a nice long sleep and you eat your breakfast and you 100% focused and ready to go write your grade 10 literacy test and you are just about to leave when your mom stops you in your tracks and she informs you that school has been cancelled and that the grade 10 literacy test has been postponed and at first you feel angered that you spent the previous night studying and making sure your ready then to have it all flushed down the toilet, but then a sign of relief comes over you and you drop down your bag, walk back to your room and instead of going back to sleep, your already awake so you use this day to do something productive... like play call of duty all day.

Yestarday on march 27th i went to TEDx youth waterloo, they had many speakers from 9 year old maddie  cranston to middle weight boxing champion syd vanderpool. Many speakers and MC's kept bringing up the phrase "chasing home", what does this mean? from this trip yestarday i was able to understand that chasing home isnt something simple, you have to try and achieve what you feel is home and what makes you feel like you, weather it be something simple like finding the job of your dreams that makes you truly happy or joining a club at school you feel pationate about but were to afraid to join, but in the end it doesnt matter, if it makes you happy you should do it no matter what other people think.

At TEDx i heard from multiple speakers that wanted to share there stories and how they came to be who they are today. Richard mclean was one of which who share his struggles and hardships throughout his life, he was raised by a bad father and his mother had died from cancer at an early age of life, he then moved from group homes to foster homes and eventually became homeless, the loss of his sister was also a huge deal in his life and he was able to find the strength and carry on. Even after all that he was still able to find home, proving that chasing home is a struggle when you don't know what it is your chasing and like

i would love to go to Brazil because i love the nature and all the wildlife they have there. i would want to see the rain forest and hang out on the beaches. i think the natural forests and cliffs would be a great experience and i also think it would be cool to get on a plane and skydive over Rio De Jeneiro
it would be cool to go hang out on the beaches because of the beautiful scenery and the wonderful landscape. i would enjoy taking simple tours, as well as doing activities like snorkeling and taking boat rides. one other thing i would enjoy doing in Brazil, specificly Rio De Jeneiro, would be to go skydiving. i would LOVE to go sky diving over Rio De Jeneiro because why would you skydive over country farm land here in Canada when you can skydive over various mountain ranges and beautiful ocean bays.

That awesome moment when you wake up on a thursday and start to get out of bed for school, dreading the last day of school before friday and as you reach over to look at your phone to check your messages from that previous night, you see the clock and realize its only 4a.m. and you can turn your head back on to your pillow and go back to bed and you have that heart warming sensation that you can go back to sleep for another 3 hours and then you snuggle up in your warm sheets, rest your head on the comfy pillow and dose off again till you reach the true time to wake up

in class we just learned a few rights we have and don't have, the thing that shocked me the most was that students, when under 18, can be arrested for truancy. its weird knowing that skipping class is considered illegal and that we can be fined and charged for doing it

that awesome moment when you get your xbox back from it being taken away for 4 months and now you can play call of duty online with your friends and can enjoy boring nights at home,

that awesome moment when your walking threw the cold wet snow on your way to school then you get that heart warming feeling because you know summer is just around the corner and you wont have to wear long baggy clothing and you can start wearing shorts and T-shirts all day long and you can be outside with friends all day because its warm
